Mrs. Susie Alice Linn, 86, a resident of Montgomery County most of her life, died at 11.:45 a.m. Sunday in Home Hospital at Lafayette, where she had been a patient four days. Born in Kentucky Nov. 22, 1878, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Phelps. She married Albert Linn in 1898. He died in 1953. Mrs. Linn had lived in this community and for the last 11 years in New Richmond. She was a member of the First Christian Church here. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Roy Hanawalt of New Richmond and Mrs. Pauline Eads of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Paul Linn of Lafayette; a brother, John Phelps of Greencastle, and 10 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home, where friends may call. Rev. Richard Bowers will be the minister, and burial will be in the Mace K. of P. Cemetery.
